You know these five are unbelievably good when we use them here at NetStripes. Not only that, but these apps are all integrated with each other, making them seriously smooth.
1. Trello – Task Management
One of the more famous productivity apps, Trello uses a user-friendly, team-oriented, stage based task organisation system. (Yes I apologise for my poor use of adjectives.)
Your tasks are separated into different stages based on when they should be done, giving you a sense of order in your small business.
Not only that, but Trello has insane integration with so many other apps to help you boost your business’s productivity.
2. Dropbox – Cloud Storage Solution
The no brainer. Dropbox is (almost) everyone’s favourite file sharing system. It works without fault, and I have never had a syncing issue for the past two years since I have started using it.
Not only that, but the ability to share files with everyone in your team, and its integration into Trello and Evernote, make it a must have in everyone’s app list.
3. Evernote/Scannable – Note Taking
A personal favourite of mine, Evernote helps me keep track of my writing and its cloud based storage have saved many, many times.
Scannable is an app made by Evernote that allows you to take pictures of documents, and then convert them into a high-quality PDF, ready to send to your team or clients.
You won’t believe how useful this really is until you try it.
4. Grammarly – Spellchecker
An app based on the Google Chrome web browser, Grammarly is an app which checks your spelling and grammar while you type.
You’ll appreciate this greatly while sending emails to your clients in the browser. (Assuming you use Chrome of course, don’t know why you would use anything else…)
5. Momentum – Habit Tracker
A habit tracking app for the driven individual, Momentum allows you to keep track of things you need to do everyday.
Running a business is hard, and it’s easy to forget everyday tasks. You could get an assistant, but in the meantime, get Momentum. (Or another habit tracking app.)
Of course, there are many more apps out there that do awesome jobs in keeping track of your busy life, but these are our top recommendations.
Also, if you’re looking for an alternative to the suggested app because you’re not on Apple/Android/Chrome, feel free to google the category of the app that is listed next to the name.
